Three Options to Receive DTV

*Option 1
Viewers with existing analog TV sets that receive television signals with “rabbit ears” or an outdoor antenna will need to purchase a new digital converter box.

*Option 2
Viewers may purchase a new digital TV with a built-in digital tuner and use an existing antenna.

Option 3
Viewers may use an existing analog TV or a new digital TV with a digital subscription to a cable or satellite service provider.

* If you wish to receive television via an antenna and want to receive WVPT’s digital channels, you will need a good-quality UHF/VHF antenna. If you do not have the combination antenna, you will not receive all of the digital channels available! And, as you plan for the DTV transition, you should also consider a good-quality preamp and an antenna rotor. The direction your antenna is pointed is critical. If you are not able to rotate your antenna, you will not receive all of the digital channels available!

Visit www.antennaweb.org to find the digital channels available in your area and a suggested antenna needed to receive these channels.
