This exclusive, limited edition print signed by P. Buckley Moss is one of only 351 prints produced for WVPT. This print is only available at WVPT.
Each year for the past 27 years, world-renowned artist P. Buckley Moss has created an original watercolor especially for WVPT—Virginia's Public Television. Each year, prints of the original are made and sold exclusively through WVPT to support the broadcast of culturally enriching programs and series on WVPT. Known as "The People's Artist," P. Buckley Moss is a patron of the arts and is a champion for children with learning disabili\ties.
"Valley Autumn" is the fourth and final print in the Four Seasons series that artist P. Buckley Moss created exclusively for WVPT—Virginia’s Public Television. The serene farm house is typical of the rural Shenandoah Valley heritage that the artist depicts. A large, dramatic black tree dominates the front of the house. A green front door and green shutters welcome visitors on a bright, sun-warmed fall day. Beyond the white yard fence sits a picturesque barn and outbuilding. Autumn is in the air as the landscape reflects barren trees and the scene is awash in the orange hues of the fall season.
