Old Opequon Church" is the second of four prints in the Historic Sites of the Shenandoah Valley and Albemarle regions of Virginia series that artist P. Buckley Moss created exclusively for WVPT—Virginia’s Public Television. The print, from 1990, is a stunning portrait of this historic Presbyterian Church located in Winchester, Virginia. Dating back to 1732, the church was formed when early settlers joined together in worship. Since it is the oldest Presbyterian Church west of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is commonly referred to as the "Mother Church of the Valley."
