New Schedule Begins September 1

MARTHA SPEAKS! and SID THE SCIENCE KID join the WVPT children’s programming block! What if your dog could talk? Martha can! Follow the adventures of Martha as she gets jobs, foils bad guys, enters contests and eats steak! Sid uses music and humor to celebrate children’s natural curiosity about science in everyday life and explores questions like: Why do bananas get mushy? JOHN DENVER: A SONG’S BEST FRIEND

A beloved performer, John Denver earned acclaim as a songwriter, singer, environmentalist and humanitarian. His music spanned three decades, 30 albums, and numerous music awards and honors. Today, old and new fans enjoy his work celebrated in this special presentation.

 


HAPPY FOR NO REASON WITH MARCI SHIMOFF

Research points to depression being second only to heart disease as a global illness by the year 2020. Motivational speaker Marci Shimoff (co-author of Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul) believes a lasting happiness is obtainable. She offers her 21 Happiness Habits to help us achieve it!
